Connecting with the Asian Indian Community
At the core of our ministry is the desire to build relationships; to connect to Asian Indians with the sincere love of Christ. Most Asian Indians that have migrated to the United States carry all the concerns of being a foreigner in a new country. They place high value on relationships with Americans, however, they hold tightly to their own adamant cultural norms. Our goal is to show them the steadfast, amazing love of Jesus Christ through unlimited avenues of care and service.
Connecting with the local church both in the US and around the world.
Global AIM recognizes the value in partnering with the local church to accomplish the goal of reaching Asian Indians within the local community. We respect the vision and passion of local congregations and their pastor to reach their communities for the Kingdom of Christ. Our goal is to assist them in connecting to, and reaching the Asian Indians in their area. The local church provides the base of volunteers for the many programs and services that Global AIM provides and sponsors. Global AIM in turn provides the training, opportunity for, and connection with the Indian community for these volunteers.
Connecting Asian Indians with Christ
Everything we do as a ministry has one focus in mind: we want to introduce people to Jesus. The connections, programs, services, and relationships all serve one purpose: to evangelize the lost. God has given us a love for this people group. When you love someone you posses “a steady wish for the loved person’s ultimate good…”1 Jesus is the ultimate good for everyone and therefore every Asian Indian person!
While we are careful to build a relationship of trust, we are also focused on a caring relationship coming full circle to a clear presentation of the gospel message in a manner in which Indians will receive. We celebrate the building of relationships, but we champion the point of decision to make Jesus Christ the Lord of one’s life.
Connecting with and reproducing mature ministry leaders
Discipleship is all about establishing believers in their faith in Christ and the work He began in them through salvation. It’s about Christ being “formed” in them until these believers reflect a Jesus lifestyle!
Discipleship also carries with it a call to reproduce. Global AIM is committed to helping individuals learn how to share their faith with others, and to train up, establish, and empower leaders.
